Welcome back to the 2002 2nd half Sort Racing Season... The 1st race was held at the Daytona International SuperSpeedway under the lights. There were plenty of exciting racing being performed... We saw Chuck Buckner (Clean_Racer5) edge out Lenwood Powell (Wood911) to capture the pole...We had 28 lead changes and 4 caution flags... Travis Dubuque (Voos) led the most laps and was battling for the win, when he had late race problems... There were several good cars there and any one of them could have won the race, but in the end we saw new Sort Driver Joe Knoll (jknoll) edge out current Sort Champion Mike Martin (mmartin#4) by .05 to grab the win, Great job jknoll!!! It don't get much better than that... 2nd was mmartin#4, 3rd MATTSORT#2, 4th bigmike10 and 5th went to BADDOG8 to round out the top 5, good run guys!!! Game bugs and warp played a role in a lot of good cars getting torn up, but we all know when we play this game, this is all part of it... We head out to the Chicagoland Speedway next Tuesday Night, Cyas there...
